No sophomore jinx here: the songwriting, performances and production are even richer and more nuanced than on their excellent heavy-psych debut, with the band expanding its soundstage to embrace and seamlessly blend elements of space-rock, jazz-rock, '70's prog, and traditional Galician folk music. This is an album that arrived with high expectations, and surpassed them all.
Favorite track: Pelerinaxes.

Hopefully doing for Spain what Villagers of Ioannina City have done for Greece ie harnessing their homelands folk and psychedelic rock music to their own very individual yoke.
Favorite track: Encontro cunha moura fiadeira en Dormeá.

Believe me when i say that this is going to blow you clean away, it is an album with its feet planted in not one genre but several ranging from traditional Iberian folk right through to heady way out there space rock. Album of the year material!

Escoiten señores, presten atención
a esta infamia que lle aconteceu
ó probe Andrés, veciño de Orois
voltando pró fogar

Campo da feira, festa do patrón
marcha contento, os tratos foron bons
sae de Arzúa antes do solpor
volta para o fogar

Na carballeira de Ribadiso
saltan dun valo dous cans, dous ladróns
pedra no peito, pártenlle o esternón
cae á lama a aghillada
coa que ó ghado lle afalaba
voltaba pró fogar
mais nunca habería chegar

THE OBELISK (USA):
"[...] There’s beauty and complexity across the span of Moura‘s Axexan, Espreitan that even those who loved their first album could’ve hardly anticipated [...] Iberian folk, krautrock, space rock, heavy soul and into the well-beyond of sound it goes, all the while remaining unpredictable and unbound by genre. It is a lush tribute to their Galician home [...]"

SHINDIG! (UK):
"[...] There’s nothing quite like a proper, good old-fashioned concept album. Across these two sides, Galicia’s Moura explore stories of their native land both traditional and personal, delving deep into the folk memories and the rituals of their exposed corner of Europe [...] Using music to preserve ideas of national identity in this way could come across as exclusive, but it actually feels welcoming, embracing and exhilarating to be part of Moura’s windswept world for 40 minutes [...]"
RUTA 66 (SPAIN):
